About Donna

A Texas native and a graduate of Texas A & M University, Donna has published over ten books, including five award-winning novels. A life-long educator and a real estate agent, she rescues old furniture from the side of the road, stops at all garage sales, and never meets a thrift store she doesn't fall in love with! Her twin sons are leaving the nest, but she still lives with embarrasingly way too many animals even as she longs for a log cabin in the woods.

Donna loves co-piloting people toward their success, whether its students, friends, co-workers, or her fellow realtors. She has been on the busy end of real estate while still juggling jobs and family life. She knows the struggle to get the little things done in the fast-paced world of contracts and deals.

She created The Inky Elephant with busy realtors in mind. She knows the one thing we all need more of is . . . time!
